There are so many places for you to visit in Holland that it is difficult to draw up a short list.

On the next few pages I have listed a few of my absolute favourites, including:

• Amsterdam – always popular and always busy!
• Delft - to find some royal bullet holes
• Beaches - all along the west and north coast
• The Islands on the north coast – peaceful and great for cycling and great beach time
• Windmills in Zaanse Schans and Kinderdijk
  
• Cheese Markets in Alkmaar, Edam and Gouda
